The Cannondale caad 7 saeco first appeared in 2003. This model was developed for the professional road team Saeco, in which the famous Italian rider Mario Cipollini performed at that time. The bike quickly became iconic due to the combination of lightness, rigidity and technological innovations, including the use of “Optimo” aluminum. The original aluminum Campagnolo Record 10 suspension set was replaced with a modern Campagnolo Chorus set. The original wheels were replaced with fulcrum racing 7 wheels. The handlebars were replaced with Ritchey WCS. As a result, we have an iconic frame with modern components.
