Pushkin's fairy tales with illustrations by Boris Zvorykin. New book. In 1925, a collection of Pushkin's fairy tales "Le Coq d'or et d'autres contes" was published in Paris, designed by the famous Russian graphic artist Boris Zvorykin. Trying to reproduce the beauty of the pictures of the long-gone life of Ancient Russia created by the poet, Zvorykin designed the Paris edition in the style of Russian book miniatures. Frames, headings, vignettes, initials - everything in his work is in tune with the ornamental aesthetics of ancient Russian manuscripts. The book includes five fairy tales (in the photo).
